ITV video analytics has reached a new level: the “Intellect X” platform has received an audio analytics module. The system now responds not only to visual but also to sound events, which expands the capabilities for automatic threat detection.
What sound events the system recognizes
- a scream and a raised tone of voice;
- breaking glass;
- a gunshot and sharp loud sounds;
- alarm activation and other characteristic noises.
How it works
Audio analytics works together with video channels: when a sound event is detected, the operator instantly receives a notification and the related video recording. This speeds up response and reduces the load on the monitoring team, especially at large and distributed sites.
The module is available to current clients with active technical support and requires no additional equipment other than microphones supported by the platform.
