Pyaterochka: Face Recognition and 'Stop List'

Pyaterochka is one of Russia’s largest grocery retailers with thousands of convenience stores.

The goal was to reduce losses from theft and checkout fraud and to speed up incident review by the security team.

A face recognition system was deployed on the Intellect platform with automatic “stop-list” matching and POS integration.

Offender detection became many times faster, and theft losses in pilot stores dropped noticeably.
